Moirengjam Devo (Subram)
Sahitya Ratna Awardee Moirengjam Devo, widely known by his pen name Subram, was conferred with the distinguished title of "Nongchup Haaram Thawan Meira" (The Guiding Star of the West). A titan of regional literature, Subram has an astonishing bibliography of 32 published books to his name, a rare feat that showcases a lifetime of creative discipline. Along with the title, he was presented with a cash prize of Rs 5,000, a traditional Koyet (turban), a Lengyan (traditional scarf), and a commemorative memento.
Lourembam ongbi Nina Devi
Equally celebrated was Sahitya Bhusan Awardee Lourembam ongbi Nina Devi. She was bestowed with the title of "Nongchup Haaram Kajenglei", named after the sacred and beautiful traditional Manipuri crown, symbolizing her regal standing in the literary community. Having authored over 10 books, her voice has been instrumental in shaping modern regional narratives. Her award was accompanied by the presentation of a physical Kajenglei, a cash prize of Rs 5,000, and a memento.
