Disciplinary action initiated against erring CRPF jawan

SILCHAR, Dec 15: The alleged misbehaviour of a jawan of 147 Bn CRPF at Lakhipur on Monday as reported in The Sentinel under the caption “CRPF jawan’s misbehaviour spark tension” has drawn the attention of the DIGP of CRPF Silchar range who has directed the Commandant of the 147 Bn CRPF to conduct an inquiry into the incident and for initiating action against the erring jawan as per departmental rules and regulations in order to retain the confidence among general people towards the Force.
