Congress announces list of candidates for 28 wards

From our Staff Reporter

SILCHAR, July 11: Keeping aside all ego clashes among top leaders, the Silchar Congress today put up a united face prior to the Municipality election to be held on July 31.

Congress leaders like Sontosh Mohan Dev, former Union Minister Dinesh Prasad Goala, State Urban Development Minister and Silchar MLA Bithika Dev, who were not in their best of relations, along with other district level leaders today jointly addressed a press meet to announce the names of candidates for 28 wards.
