JORHAT, July 12: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has launched Black Berry services in Jorhat district for its post paid mobile customers. This service provides individual as well as Corporate customers quick, by wireless access to communication and information on Smart phones that can be activated with a suitable BSNL’s data plan. It will offer faster e-mail access on go, attachment viewing, instant message, web and multimedia on ‘Qwerty’ based handsets namely– Black Berry Bold, Black Berry RVE 8310 and Black Berry 8700. Black Berry pulling MMI technology empowers sending and receiving e-mail to mobile sets without pulling the message from mailing server.
This new service would carry fixed monthly charge of Rs 299, Rs 499 and Rs 999 for Black Berry internet service and Rs 425, Rs 625 and Rs 875 for Black Berry enterprise service.
Though by the very nature of its functionaries, this service has always been effective for working professionals and students, official sources said. (Source - The Sentinel )
