The prestigious felicitation program was held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the well-known Hotel Shangai located in Modhurapool, Silchar. The gathering brought together prominent community leaders, academicians, and well-wishers to celebrate a daughter of the soil who has set a new benchmark for aspiring medical students in the region. The event underscored the importance of community support in nurturing young talent and encouraging educational excellence among the youth of Barak Valley.
Prominent Dignitaries Grace the Occasion
The ceremony was presided over by Rtd. ACS Kangabam Shantee Kr, who serves as the Chairman of MACCOCOM. Sharing the dais with him were key figures who played a pivotal role in Chinglembi's academic journey, including Saurav Kumar, Academic Head of AAKASH Institute, and Reshmi Chandra, Branch Manager of AAKASH, where Chinglembi undertook her coaching. Also seated on the dais was Nongthombam Dhiren, Advisor to the YMCA, adding profound community leadership to the distinguished panel.

The formal felicitation began with YMCA President Romen Luwang presenting a traditional shawl (Lengjaan) to the bright young scholar, symbolizing the highest form of respect and blessings from the community. Following this, YMCA General Secretary Roshan Erom handed over a beautiful memento. From MACCOCOM's side, Chairman Kangabam Shantee Kr presented another traditional shawl, while Co-Convenor Dr. Raju Khumujam gifted a special memento to commemorate her historic success.
