The intense final match officially began with Sunrise Club winning the crucial coin toss and strategically choosing their preferred side to defend, while R.Y.C took the opening kick-off. Right from the very first whistle, both talented teams displayed incredibly high energy and aggressive attacking intent. However, it was the well-coordinated R.Y.C squad who managed to intelligently capitalize on their early offensive opportunities.
The undeniable star of the championship match was Rangue Daime (wearing Jersey No. 10) of R.Y.C. Displaying incredible footwork, he successfully broke the stubborn deadlock in the 36th minute, brilliantly finding the back of the net to give his hard-working team a crucial 1-0 lead just before the halftime whistle blew. The positive momentum stayed firmly with R.Y.C as both teams returned from the break. Just minutes into the highly crucial second half, in the 43rd minute, the unstoppable Daime struck once again, stunningly doubling the lead and putting immense psychological and scoreboard pressure on the opposition.
Sunrise Club Kadamtala, however, valiantly refused to go down without putting up a massive fight. Their relentless persistence and aggressive counter-attacks finally paid off in the 61st minute when Kh. Angamba scored a truly brilliant goal, rapidly narrowing the growing deficit to 2-1. Despite a fierce, nail-biting exchange of aggressive attacks in the dying minutes of the game, R.Y.C’s solid defense held remarkably firm, officially securing their glorious title as the undisputed champions of the 2025-26 football season.
