K Tamna Singha Awarded PhD in Plant Sciences by University of Hyderabad

Lakhipuronline Digital Desk: K Tamna Singha, daughter of K Chandrasekhar Singha and L Amutombi Singha from Laishramkhun, Rajyeswarpur, Hailakandi district, has achieved a remarkable milestone in her academic journey. She has been conferred with a prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Sciences by the renowned University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.

Tamna's research thesis titled "Oleochemical Changes During Seed Development in Oil Yielding Legume tree Pongamia pinnata L. Pierre" was supervised by the esteemed Prof Attipalli R Reddy, a highly acclaimed professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Hyderabad.

With her commendable research work and dedication, Tamna has made significant contributions to the field of Plant Sciences. Her study focused on understanding the various changes that occur in the oleochemical composition of the Pongamia pinnata tree during seed development.
