Nationwide Movement Urges Judicial Scrutiny on EVMs: Supreme Court Gathering on 16th Jan

Lakhipuronline Digital Desk : In a bid to address growing concerns about the use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in India, citizens and advocates have organized a peaceful gathering named "EVM HATAO SANYUKT MORCHA." The movement, led by prominent advocates, calls for a thorough examination of EVMs to safeguard the principles of a robust and transparent democracy.

Scheduled for 3:00 PM on 16th January 2024, at the gates of the Supreme Court, this assembly aims to seek an audience with the Chief Justice of India. The organizers emphasize the need for an open dialogue, urging the judiciary to actively engage with public concerns surrounding the potential impact of EVMs on the democratic process.
