Inauguration of 'Hatekhori' Wall Newspaper at Jogai Mothura Higher Secondary School

Lakhipuronline Digital Desk :Jogai Mothura Higher Secondary School, located in Binnakandi Ghat, celebrated a significant milestone on Tuesday, January 29, 2024. The school inaugurated its first-ever wall newspaper, 'Hatekhori,' with great enthusiasm and pride.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Biswajit Debroy, President of the School Management and Development Association. Under the esteemed editorship of Mr. Shilpajit Pal, the Principal of the school, the wall newspaper 'Hatekhori' showcases writings in Bengali, Manipuri, and Hindi languages.

During his speech, Mr. Shilpajit Pal expressed his vision for 'Hatekhori,' stating that the journey of this initiative aims to publish at least two issues per year. The name 'Hatekhori' was chosen to ensure that it resonates with the majority of the students, providing them with a platform to express their thoughts and ideas.

The primary objective of 'Hatekhori' is to foster the exchange of ideas among students, nurture creative talent, encourage open-mindedness, promote literary practice, and facilitate mental development. It is hoped that this endeavor will pave the way for future literary luminaries to emerge.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the participation of various esteemed individuals, including Mr. Biswajit Debroy, Binnakandi cluster CRCC Mujibur Rahman, retired Head teacher Durga Kant Pandey, teacher Debbrata Banik, and science teacher Sanabi Singha. Additionally, two students, Laxman Acharya from class XI and Pallavi Das from class IX, delivered short speeches and recited their poems, adding a touch of inspiration to the event.
