Tragic Road Accident in Kabuganj: Young Man Seriously Injured

Lakhipuronline Digital Desk : In a horrifying incident on the night of November 26, 2023, at approximately 11:30 pm, a speeding motorcycle collided with a stationary lorry in Kabuganj. The victim, identified as RK Bikram, a resident of Silchar Itkhola, sustained severe injuries in front of Kabuganj Lakhicharan HS School while returning home from Dholai.

Eyewitnesses reported that the motorcycle slammed into the twelve-wheeler lorry with great force, causing RK Bikram to be thrown behind the vehicle. Promptly responding to the loud crash, locals rushed to the scene, rescuing the injured young man before alerting the 108 ambulance services.

After half an hour, the ambulance reached the spot, and with the assistance of Sonai police, who were on patrol nearby, RK Bikram was safely transported to Silchar Medical College for urgent medical attention.

Dholai police later arrived at the scene to recover the damaged motorcycle, taking it into custody for investigation. Presently, RK Bikram is undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College, grappling with serious injuries sustained in this unfortunate accident.
