SI M. Thadoi Singha: A Beacon of Excellence in Investigation Honored with Union Home Minister's Medal

Thadoi Singha has been awarded the prestigious "Union Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation" for the Year 2023. Her dedication and exemplary performance in the field of investigation, during her service in the Karbi Anglong district police, have resulted in the successful conviction of six heinous cases. This commendable accomplishment not only delivered justice to the victims and their families but also showcased the steadfast commitment of Assam's law enforcement personnel.

Moreover, WSI(ub) M. Thadoi Singha has also been lauded with the Chief Minister's Police Medal for her outstanding service. Currently serving in the Police Commissionerate Guwahati, her contribution has been instrumental in upholding the state's law and order.

Smt. Singha is part of a distinguished group of police officers from Assam who have received this esteemed accolade. The "Union Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation," established in 2018, seeks to elevate the standards of crime investigation and recognize the exceptional contributions made in this vital area of law enforcement. This year's announcement on August 12th has seen a total of 140 police personnel honored, including 22 accomplished women police officers, reaffirming the commitment to gender equality within the force.
