Dr. Rajmani Haorongbam, the head of Barak Museum, extended his appreciation for the association's efforts. One grateful resident of Luwangsangbam, Manipur, Tondon Singh, currently taking shelter at the Sonai Ganganagar camp, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Cachar for their unwavering support during this distressing time.
Reflecting on the situation, Dr. M. Shantikumar Singh, in an address to reporters, expressed disappointment in the Indian government's failure to establish a democratic environment. He attributed the horrific incidents in Manipur to the pervasive spread of hatred and communal discord within society. Dr. Singh called for adequate relief and protection for the diverse ethnic groups taking shelter in Assam, urging authorities to take immediate action to restore peace to Manipur.
