Lakhipuronline Digital Desk : In a gesture of recognition and admiration, the All Assam Manipuri Students' Union (AAMSU), led by Ashangbam Swapan G.S and Indrajit Fanjowbam A.G.S, felicitated Sinam Jaiphabi Chanu, the 4th position holder in the Assam state HSLC examination 2023. The felicitation ceremony took place at her residence, where AAMSU extended heartfelt congratulations to Chanu for her outstanding achievement of securing 591 out of 600 marks.
Chanu, hailing from the remote village of Berabak in the Cachar District of Assam, is a student of Holy Cross School, Kabuganj. Despite the challenges she faced as a middle-class student, Chanu attributed her success to her dedication to self-study and the valuable assistance she received from online resources such as YouTube.
During her interaction with AAMSU delegates, Chanu shared insights into her daily routine during the preparation phase. She revealed that she dedicated eight hours every day to her studies and incorporated physical activities such as exercise, running, and meditation to alleviate stress. Notably, she commuted to school on her bicycle, proving that the boundaries between rural and urban areas hold no sway when it comes to achieving success.
AAMSU expressed their well wishes for Chanu's bright future, recognizing her as a shining example of triumph that transcends societal expectations. As Sinam Chingkheinganba, the Info & Publicity Secretary, reported, Chanu's journey symbolizes the limitless potential found within individuals, irrespective of their backgrounds or geographical locations.
