Silchar, May 3: Rajdeep Goala, MLA, Lakhipur, through the chairman of the Sub-divisional welfare office (Minority Board), Hazi Hayad Ali, recently distributed 10 cycles, 50 spray machines and 20 sewing machines to the intended recipients in Lakhipur. Rajdeep Goala also attended a meeting, presided over by Mainamin Choudhury, Ramesh Chandra Das and others, in Rupaibali GP. The issues of roads, health infrastructure, electrification and other issues were also discussed in the meeting. Goala said a sum of Rs.2 Crores for constructing a road in Rupaibali has already been sanctioned and work for it will begin shortly. He also said a hospital in Rupaibali would be constructed very soon. Recently due to his initiative a 250 KB transformer was constructed in Hatihar under Rupaibali GP for which the people of Rupaibali thanked him. (Source: SentinelAssam)
