IMPHAL, Sep 26:Two girls from Manipur have made it to the select list of 23 girls from across the country to attend the Officers' Training Academy, Chennai. Khumanthem Deepi Devi daughter of (L) Kh Asoda Singh and Kh Rita Devi of Khoyathong Polem Leikai and Nganthoi Oinamof Samurou have cracked the CDS examination and will be heading for the OTA, Chennai for their 11 months training after which they will be absorbed in the Indian Army as Lieutenants.
The two girls made it to the selectlist of only 23 from hundreds of girls who appeared for the said examination. Khumanthem Deepi did her schooling at Guwahati where her late father was posted and has completed her BCA. (thesangaiexpress)
