SILCHAR, July 29: Farmers from different places in Cachar district met Cachar DC Gautam Ganguly at a meeting to discuss the current problem of drought in the district.
The farmers informed the DC that the current situation was not that dangerous provided they get the required amount of potash and urea. They also requested him to distribute the Rabi seed on time. (Source - Sentinel)
