Nine rank holders bring laurels to Cachar

Silchar, May 31: SEBA (Secondary Education Board of Assam) has provided the results of Class 10 today, (May 31) at around 11 in the morning. Class 10 examination, also known as Matriculation examination or simply Matric, was conducted between February 19 and March 12.
According to sources, the pass percentage of the students stood at 62.79 in the state. In Cachar district, total number of students appeared were 20595 students, out of which 2189 students secured 1st Division, 4119 got IInd Division and marks and 5311 students have secured IIIrd Divison marks.
According to sources, nine toppers from the district have brought laurels to their respective institutions. Prithviraj Das, Sandipan Paul, Vikramjit Dey and Pragya Nath of Silchar Collegiate High School have secured 6th, 9th, 9th and 19th positions respectively. Pallabi Das, Apratim Choudhury, Rithika Paul, Tithi Choudhury and Anasua Deb of Holy Cross High School have secured 11th, 15th, 19th, 20th and 20th places respectively. In Hailakandi district, a total of 6818 students have appeared for the examination, out of which 4103 have passed the examination, with a pass percentage of 60.18 and in Karimganj district, out of total 11370 students, 5780 students have passed with the pass percentage of 50.89%.
