GUWAHATI, March 23 – The Assam government will publish the provisional list of candidates who have cleared the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) on the night of March 26 on its website. The final list will be declared on March 31.
Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that the candidates in the provisional list who appeared in interview in three districts and passed in all three will have to intimate the government in which district he/she is going to join by March 27 and 28 through online submission.
"So, many names that might not appear in the provisional list will be there in the final list after candidates inform us in which district they will join," said Sarma making it clear that since the government is paying good salary, the selected candidates will haveto serve anywhere. The schools in which the selected candidates will be posted have been divided into four categories—most interior, difficult, less interior and roadside. The female candidates will have the privilege of opting for the less interior and roadside. (assamtribune)
