SILCHAR, Feb 7: In keeping with its tradition of spreading the message of peace and amity among the various tribal and non-tribal communities of the subdivision in particular and Barak Valley in general, the Lions Club of greater Lakhipur has organized a 'marathon' at Pailapool on February 19. The runners for peace and their competitive spirit will be rewarded with cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 for those emerging victorious and securing first, second and third places respectively. The marathon is open for both boys and girls andthey have been advised to collect necessary guidelines and registration forms from Rumi Medicals, Pailapool, and Shiva Medicals, Lakhipur.
