SILCHAR, Dec 22: All Assam Manipuri Women Meira Paibi Coordination Committee (AAMWMPCC) has expressed its serious concern at the failure of the police to arrest the accused persons including the prime culprit involved in the brutal murder of Jayashree Sharma who used to live with her parents and other family members at Pailapoolunder Lakhipur police station. She was married to Pradip Sharma, who serves in BSF, in October last. Pradip left her at one of his relative homes at Bam Malugram under Dholai police for his place ofposting in Jammu & Kashmir.
But, quite mysteriously, she was found missing from the house of his husband's relative and her father Jogendra Sharma, being informed of the unfortunate incident, lodged FIR with Lakhipurpolice station, suspecting something foul.
